View Full Version : Is Czech Republic using the Euro yet? Thanks Boss 03-04-2005, 11:35 AM Staying with Crown, the strong Czech Crown rules forever!:) But our economics is steadily growing, as you may have remarked. The economists say that the tempo of our growth is incredible. Imagine, they worked out, that in 30 years we may get the same salaries and wages as Germans do now. Isnt it incredible?:) Nejstrashnjejshi 09-07-2005, 11:38 PM Grocery Stores (such as Albert) accept the Euro. Hotels and Hostels do as well. As far as 'using' the Euro goes, the KC is still their currency. I do not predict a full coversion to the Euro for many years to come. Thheizz 10-07-2005, 11:21 AM Well, The last predictions from the the Czech department at the European Union building in Brussels is that it'll take at least 8 years. So it'll take a time before the euro is the official currency of the Czech Republic. I think it'll take at least 12 years. Because it's nearly impossible, with natural growth, to become one of the Euro countries. |
