For those of you who had the chance of attending Sokol (or being its member). How do you liked it? Do you have any interesting, lovely (or perhaps horrible experiences) to share with others? Did/Do you like being member of Sokol and what in particular did you like? Just whatever.. /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No, Boss, don't be scared, I've never been a member of Sokol (as you might guess..)! /forum/images/graemlins/lol.gif I just see you sport forum goes unanswered... /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
You may be surprised but my grandfather was a member of Sokol for his whole life. He was a member in the "golden years" of Sokol in the interwar period. Sadly, I cannot tell you any experiences of his as he had died before I was born. But he was really an enthusiast for exercise and sport of any kind - you would find the same tune had you known each other... /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
If he was alive, I would straight ahead ask him to register. Cause I can see this site really lacks sport fans. It is strange that his descendants didnt inherit his inclination to sport. Or not as far as I can see. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, my mother did but only when she was young... And I have cut the line of sportsmen in our family completely... /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

A question: how are the members of Sokol divided? I know there are many groups but is it just local division or is it because of what they concentrate on?
