hi ,

I'm from Romania. It is possible to work in Brno starting from august.
How much money do I need to have for a decent life in Brno(a flat with 1 room and kitchen, food on the restaurant, etc)

Can someone help me here. 1300EUR is ok? what about 1000?

Hi and welcome! Have a closer look at other threads in this forum, there is a large number of information on this topic (including prices for rents, some food and all that stuff). 1+1 flat is 7,000+ CZK per month. If you exchange 1,000 EUR for CZK, it is quite a lot of money. You should make it without any problems, many Czech families have less money when the salaries of both are put together...

Well, cip.andrei, that might be a little tricky. Keep in mind that you will have to pay the rent for the first month, and the real estate agent (if you are using their services) wich usualy but not necesary the amount of one month rent. So 1000E might be more than enough or not enough at all. On the other hand, some extra money will not harm you so take it if you can.

I don't think 1,000 EUR can be 'not enough at all'... I meant it's quite a lot for a normal life for a month. It's true you have to pay to agency. But 1,000 EUR should be enough even for that. Even if you get 1+1 flat for 8,000 CZK a month, you pay another 8,000 to the agency, you still should have more than 10,000 CZK left for the first month, which is enough.
