Hi all,

I'm flying to Prague come Wednesday (19 / 7), and shall be staying at an establishment identified by two lines:

Hotel Geo
Perunova 16

The questions I'd dearly have answers too are these:

1. What is a good way of getting from the airport to the 'Geo'?

2. Starting out from Perunova 16, wherever that might be, how do I
get to the City Centre? Underground? Buses? Taxi? Walk?

3. Whatever else I should have asked but was too stupid to think of
all by myself:lol

Wishing you all a great summer,

Tataa!

Hello,
1. From the airport take the bus No 119. Go all the way to the terminal stop - Dejvicka. Take metro line A (the green line) to Jiriho z Podebrad Station. Perunova Street is near the station.
2. Geo is located in Vinohrady which is considered to be near the city centre. You can take the same green line to go to Venceslas Square, Old Town Square, Prague Castle and all the stuff. Or you can travel by a tram. The tram stop is called Perunova and it's located to the opposite direction from the hotel than the metro is. Both metro and tram station/stop are just one or two blocks away.
3. If you plan to travel a lot by a city transport you can buy a 1-day (80 CZK) or 3-day (220 CZK) ticket. The best way to consult public transport is directly at the airport. There is one information office in the old and one in the new terminal there.
One-way ticket for shorter distance is for 14 CZK, for longer distances it's for 20 CZK. From the airport to Vinohrady it would be 20. You have to have a ticket in advance and you have to mark it in a metro station/tram/bus.
If you want to know anything else, just ask...
