Like in a lot of countries you can find a lot of WiFi hotspots in Czech. Most of them are Paid, some are for free. It’s always difficult to find one, specially as foreigner. But there is one website who can help you find a hotspot in the location you’ll be.
You’ll need internet for the information about the hotspot, so it’s a good idea to write down the information you’ll need to access that specific hotspot.
If you use one of the big hotspots; Eurotel WiFi Jet (http://www.eurotel.cz/jnp/en/customerService/faq/-content-faq-personal-en-Sluzby-WiFi-faq_1.html) , T-Mobile Hotspot (http://t-mobile.cz/Web/Residential/TarifySluzby/DatoveSluzby/T-MobileHotSpot-Lokality.aspx) and 802.cz (http://www.802.cz/Default.asp?Type=3) You’ll have a connection in nearly every big city. Negative side on that is, it’s mostly expensive. If you don’t care to spend some money on, mostly, a decent connection it’s the best to use Eurotel, at this moment it’s the only big provider who has a English support.
For the persons who really like to find a connection for free I have great tip: http://wifi.lupa.cz/katalog/obce-zdarma/
Though the website is in Czech it’s easy to work with. You’ll find a list of all WiFi access-points who are free (Zdarma) Next to the list of free WiFi hotspots there is a list of all Wifi-hotspots, but it works the same. With a bit of luck you’ll find the city you’ll be. Click on that city name. (Sometimes you’ll need to tell in what part of the city you are) You’ll then find a list of all the hotspots in that direct surrounding. By clicking on one of the names you’ll get all the information you’ll need. For a person who already logged in on a hotspot it’s easy. Try it, and you’ll see, it works mostly quite well, specially the Hotspots from 802.cz
