I am coming to Brno at the end of August and I am getting prepared for all the things regarding living there. I have found very detailed reviews for banks at http://www.expats.cz/prague/article/money/czech-banks-revisited/ and a list of rental agencies and mobile providers but I have found very little about Internet Service Providers. Can anyone please post links to some bigger ISP's operating in Brno. My requirements would be at least a 1024 kbps uncapped with a public ip. I have heard that ADSL is too much trouble (in terms of availability and waiting time). Is this true? Is the cable a better way to go? Thank you very much for any replies...

Same here; I've found this one: http://www.master.cz/web/eu/cat/20 yet, there are no prices stated if you follow the "Price list" link. Are they saving this one for "an end of the month surprise bill"? :)

It's quite strange that ISPs do not advertise their services on - Internet :lol
However, I've head some rumours that Brno has an excellent community WiFi network; can someone confirm this?

Hey Guys,
I found the following link quite informative!
http://www.expats.cz/prague/article/prague-technology/prague-isps/
Especially the link to http://www.adsl.cz/home.html
Hope this gives some insight to some of you.
Cheers,
